Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Angelina is a senior at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill double majoring in Journalism and Studio Art with a Social justice minor. Her fine art background plays an important role in her journalism and works with her curious and extroverted side to tell visual stories of the people and new communities she meets.

Angelina's goal is to use visual storytelling to shed light on stories and people often overlooked. She was most recently  working toward that this summer as the photo/video intern at the Raleigh News & Observer. She has also previously interned at Bloomberg in Fall 2021 and the Malheur Enterprise in Oregon under Les Zaitz. She also recently won first place in the 2022 Hearst Photojournalism Championships.

Her work has been published with the Washington Post, Bloomberg, the Associated Press, the Economist, the Raleigh News & Observer, the Charlotte Observer, the Oregonian, Portland Press Herald, USA Field Hockey, the Hearst Foundation and more.
